With the continuous upgrading of mining, cement and thermal power industries, the market demand for high-strength forged steel balls is growing steadily. As the core pre-forging processing equipment, the newly optimized high-efficiency forged steel ball induction heating machine has officially launched, targeting the personalized heating demands of steel ball forging production. It effectively solves the long-standing industry pain points of traditional heating furnaces, such as high energy consumption, severe surface oxidation, uneven temperature and low finished product qualification rate, bringing a new intelligent and energy-saving upgrading solution for the abrasive steel ball manufacturing industry.

Different from conventional heating equipment, this new Induction heating equipment adopts optimized medium-frequency electromagnetic induction heating technology, which is specially customized for round steel billets used for forged steel balls. The equipment generates a stable alternating magnetic field through a water-cooled induction coil, inducing uniform eddy current inside the steel billet to realize internal and synchronous heating. It completely changes the defect of slow external heat conduction of traditional flame furnaces, achieving rapid constant-temperature heating within 900℃–1200℃ required for steel ball forging. The overall thermal efficiency is greatly improved, and the heating cycle of a single steel billet is shortened significantly, realizing batch and continuous efficient production.

In terms of energy conservation and environmental protection, the equipment shows outstanding performance. The non-open-flame induction heating mode produces no flue gas, dust and harmful emissions, complying with global industrial environmental protection production specifications. Compared with traditional gas-fired furnaces, it reduces comprehensive energy consumption by more than 35%. Meanwhile, the rapid heating feature greatly reduces the oxidation time of steel billets, effectively thinning the oxide scale and avoiding material waste, which significantly improves the yield of forged steel balls and reduces the comprehensive production cost for enterprises.
