Forging Steel Ball Production Line Shipment Record

This customized steel ball rolling preheating equipment is tailored according to the customer’s local mine working conditions, with a hourly output of 8 tons, supporting mass production of forged steel balls ranging from 30mm to 120mm. Different from traditional semi-automatic forging equipment, the whole line adopts full PLC closed-loop intelligent control, equipped with independent researched and developed energy-saving medium frequency induction heating system. The heating temperature is stably controlled between 930℃ and 1050℃, unit power consumption is reduced by more than 20% compared with old-fashioned equipment, which effectively helps overseas customers cut long-term production operation costs. The integrated die forging unit matches automatic mechanical grabbing arms, realizing continuous forming without manual intervention; the follow-up tempering and quenching assembly line ensures uniform internal metallographic structure of forged steel balls, finished ball surface hardness stably reaches HRC58–65, impact toughness far exceeds international general standards, low breakage rate and strong wear resistance, perfectly matching large ball mills and SAG mills in mineral processing plants.

Before shipment, the technical and quality inspection team carried out a 72-hour continuous no-load and load test on all equipment modules. Every core component including medium frequency induction power supply, forging roller, conveying track and detection instrument passed SGS and BV dual standard testing, with complete test reports, material certificates and operation manuals delivered together with the equipment. Considering long-distance sea transportation, all mechanical parts adopted anti-rust oil coating, wooden frame fixed protection and waterproof plastic film layered packaging; electrical control cabinets are filled with desiccants and packed with shockproof foam to avoid damage during transshipment. Professional logistics team coordinated container hoisting, orderly placing of heavy forging hosts, auxiliary heating equipment, sorting conveyor and testing equipment, and the whole loading process was synchronously filmed for the customer’s acceptance archive, which can be used for later on-site installation guidance video materials.
