Wuqiao, Hebei, July 25, 2026 – A batch of customized high-power IGBT induction power supplies independently developed by Forever Electromechanical has finished full factory testing and completed container shipment, destined to match the customer’s fully automatic steel ball hot rolling production line overseas. The overseas customer is a large-scale manufacturer specializing in forged grinding balls for mines and cement plants. Its original forging steel ball induction heating machine was equipped with outdated thyristor power supplies, featuring low heating efficiency, severe energy waste and inconsistent heating temperature of steel blanks. Uneven heating directly caused unqualified hardness, high breakage rate and huge economic losses during steel ball rolling. After comparing multiple domestic and foreign power supply manufacturers, the client finally chose Forever Electromechanical’s IGBT solid-state induction power supply after on-site equipment inspection and technical argumentation.

Combined with the client’s production parameters of Φ20mm to Φ120mm steel ball blanks, Forever’s R&D team optimized the internal circuit and heat dissipation structure of the IGBT induction power supply. Compared with traditional thyristor power supplies, its electrothermal conversion efficiency is increased to over 93%, reducing electricity costs by more than 35% for the whole hot rolling line. The digital constant current and constant voltage control system realizes real-time closed-loop temperature adjustment, and the blank heating temperature error is controlled within ±8℃, ensuring uniform metallographic structure of steel ball semi-finished products after hot rolling and effectively reducing the finished product fragmentation rate by 18%.

This supporting IGBT induction power supply adopts modular integrated design, which greatly simplifies later maintenance work. Each power module can be quickly disassembled and replaced without shutting down the whole production line for a long time, effectively improving the overall operating rate of the automatic automatic steel ball hot rolling production line. The equipment is equipped with multiple protection functions including overvoltage, overcurrent, overheating and water shortage, which can automatically cut off power to avoid coil burnout and circuit damage during 24-hour continuous rolling production. In addition, the power supply reserves multi-language PLC communication interface, which can seamlessly dock with the customer’s existing automatic feeding, rolling and sorting linkage system to realize unmanned intelligent production.

Before delivery, all power supplies passed 72-hour uninterrupted full-load aging test, insulation detection and temperature cycle simulation test to adapt to high temperature and humid marine transportation and overseas factory harsh production environment. The core power cabinets are wrapped with vacuum moisture-proof film and fixed in fumigated wooden boxes with shock absorption fillers; external matching induction coils, cooling water circuits and complete sets of spare parts are classified and packaged in separate boxes. The sales team sorted CE certification, English operation manuals, wiring diagrams and after-sales service documents to ensure smooth customs clearance and fast on-site assembly and debugging.
