Round Steel Tube Quenching and Tempering Furnace

The Round round steel tube quenching and tempering furnace is a continuous induction heat treatment equipment specially designed for seamless round steel tubes and alloy pipes. It provides an integrated tempering solution for high-pressure fluid pipes, mechanical structural pipes, oil and gas transmission pipes, and boiler heat-resistant steel pipes. With rapid induction heating, precise spray quenching and constant temperature tempering, the production line improves comprehensive mechanical properties such as strength, toughness, pressure resistance and fatigue resistance. It is suitable for carbon steel, alloy steel and chromium-molybdenum steel, covering pipe diameters from 25mm to 325mm and wall thicknesses from 4mm to 55mm.

Adopting a linear continuous conveying layout, the whole process includes automatic feeding, pipe centering, quenching heating, temperature homogenization, high-pressure spray quenching, water drying, tempering heating, constant temperature holding, air cooling, straightening and discharging. The quenching section adopts intermediate-frequency induction heating to ensure uniform tube wall temperature without overheating or insufficient heating. Equipped with real-time infrared temperature measurement, the furnace accurately controls austenitizing temperature and holding time to stabilize the metallographic structure.

Induction heating machine

The quenching unit uses closed high-pressure spray cooling with adjustable water-soluble quenching medium to avoid cracking, deformation and uneven hardness of thick-wall pipes. After quenching, the pipes enter the tempering section to eliminate residual internal stress, refine metal grains and reduce brittleness. The closed-loop temperature control, frequency conversion speed regulation and intelligent feeding system dynamically adjust heating power, running speed and cooling flow according to pipe material and wall thickness.
