The Forever Electromechanical Hot Rolling Steel Ball Heating Furnace adopts a fully automatic production line working mode, without manual intervention, fully automatic production, which can ensure the stability of steel ball quality to the maximum extent. The production process of steel ball production line is environmentally friendly, energy-saving and efficient. The produced steel balls have precise dimensions, round geometric shapes, high hardness, and good mechanical properties, as well as high impact toughness and strong resistance to breakage.

Working principle of hot rolling steel ball heating furnace:

The core of the equipment is the induction heating coil.

The intermediate frequency power supply (usually with a frequency between 500Hz-2000Hz) delivers alternating current to the coil, generating an alternating magnetic field.

A strong eddy current is induced inside the metal ball blank passing through the coil, which generates heat through its own resistance in a very short time (tens of seconds) to reach the desired temperature.

During the heating process, the ball blank is usually pushed by an automatic feeding mechanism and continuously or stepwise passes through the coil to achieve continuous production.

The overwhelming advantages compared to traditional coal-fired/gas-fired heating furnaces:

Heating speed is extremely fast and efficient: heat is directly generated inside the material section, with a thermal efficiency of up to 60-75%. The heating time is measured in seconds, which is one tenth of that of a flame furnace.

Uniform heating with minimal oxidation and decarburization: The "skin effect" of induction heating can be achieved through frequency selection to achieve heat transfer, resulting in uniform temperature inside and outside the material section. Rapid heating and non-contact heating (with minimal oxidation in inert atmospheres or air) result in very thin oxide scales and decarburization layers on the surface of the material (usually<0.2mm), greatly improving material utilization and the ultimate fatigue life of the steel ball. This is its most crucial advantage.

High degree of automation, stable working conditions: easy to achieve linkage with the front and rear processes (automatic feeding, shearing, rolling), fully automatic control, precise temperature control, excellent product quality consistency.

Superior working environment: no open flames, no smoke, no high temperature radiation, clean and environmentally friendly workshop, and good working conditions for workers.

Flexible start stop, significant energy saving: heating can be started instantly when needed, and there is almost no energy loss when stopping. During intermittent production, it is much more energy-efficient than flame furnaces that require continuous insulation.

Easy process integration: It can be easily integrated with hot rolling/forging processes to achieve direct transfer of hot billets, reduce temperature drop, and save energy.
