Precision Pre-commissioning Inspection to Lay a Foundation for Stable Operation

The steel ball induction heat treatment production line involves multiple core systems including heating furnace, precision rolling mill, circulating cooling system and automatic control system. For hydraulic and pneumatic systems, we completed pipeline acid cleaning and circulating flushing to ensure the oil cleanliness meets NAS 1638-7 level, avoiding pipeline blockage and component wear during operation.

In terms of electrical control, the team standardized cable laying, kept the main motor power cables and signal cables at a safe spacing, and controlled the PLC system grounding resistance below 1Ω to ensure stable and interference-free operation of the automatic control program. Meanwhile, we completed pre-job technical training for on-site operators, clarifying equipment operation specifications, safety operation guidelines and emergency disposal processes to realize standardized pre-commissioning preparation.

Graduated Trial Operation to Break Through Core Commissioning Difficulties

Aiming at the characteristics of continuous operation and high precision forming of the automatic steel ball production line, the team adopted a progressive commissioning strategy of no-load test first and then load trial production. In the single-machine no-load commissioning stage, each independent equipment was operated continuously for more than 4 hours to detect the temperature rise of bearings, the stability of motor operation and the sensitivity of shear blade switching, eliminating abnormal noise and overheating faults of single equipment.
In the linkage no-load commissioning stage, we verified the matching accuracy of the HMI human-computer interaction system and the on-site equipment logic, optimized the rolling speed synchronization and material feeding rhythm, and solved the problems of delayed signal response and inconsistent equipment linkage. In the formal load trial production stage, targeting common defects such as uneven steel ball size and surface scratch, we adjusted the rolling gap parameter and heating furnace temperature gradient in real time, optimized the hot rolling forming process, and effectively improved the surface finish and dimensional accuracy of finished steel balls.

Process Optimization and Experience Precipitation to Empower Efficient Production

In combination with on-site commissioning practice, Forever Electromachanical has summarized a set of targeted optimization schemes. First, establish a real-time operation data monitoring mechanism, track key parameters such as rolling temperature, operating speed and cooling water flow, and realize early warning of equipment abnormal conditions. Second, optimize the regular maintenance cycle of vulnerable parts such as rolling rollers and cutting blades, formulate a scientific replacement and maintenance plan, and reduce the downtime loss caused by component wear.

In addition, the team sorted out common faults and rapid disposal schemes in the commissioning and operation process, formed a standardized commissioning operation manual, and realized the replicable and promotable technical experience. After systematic commissioning and optimization, the production line runs stably, with the finished steel ball qualification rate reaching the industry high standard, and the production efficiency and energy-saving effect are significantly improved.
