Steel Pipe Heat Treatment Production Line | Induction Quenching & Tempering Solution

1. Project Overview

This production line is a full-automatic continuous induction heat treatment system independently developed by Forever Electromechanical, specially designed for seamless steel pipes, welded pipes, oil casing pipes and low-alloy steel pipes. The whole line adopts medium-frequency induction online quenching and tempering integrated process, replacing traditional furnace heating. It features fast heating speed, uniform temperature, small deformation, energy saving and high efficiency. After treatment, the steel pipe has stable hardness, uniform metallographic structure, excellent strength and toughness, fully meeting API, petroleum machinery and national standard technical requirements. The line supports 24-hour continuous industrial production and is suitable for mass standardized pipe manufacturing.

2. Core Process Flow

First, the steel pipe is automatically fed and centered by roller tables to avoid eccentric deviation. Then the pipe enters the medium-frequency induction quenching heating zone, quickly and evenly heated to 880–930 ℃ with synchronous temperature inside and outside the pipe wall. Immediately after heating, the pipe passes through an annular high-pressure uniform spraying quenching unit to complete rapid cooling and form uniform martensite structure. After quenching, the pipe directly enters the low-temperature induction tempering zone at 520–650 ℃ to eliminate internal stress, improve impact toughness and prevent cracking. Finally, slow cooling and automatic straightening ensure qualified straightness, and finished pipes are discharged and inspected online.

3. Main Equipment Configuration

Equipped with Forever high-performance IGBT medium frequency induction power supply, anti-interference and stable power output. Match special water-cooled induction coils for uniform circumferential heating. Support rotary synchronous conveying system to ensure no bending deformation. Equipped with infrared real-time temperature closed-loop control system to guarantee precise heating. Complete with closed circulating cooling water station, automatic feeding and discharging system and electrical PLC intelligent control cabinet.
