This production line was tailor-made according to the customer’s production capacity and steel ball specification demands. The client mainly produces forged steel balls ranging from Φ20mm to Φ100mm for mineral grinding and cement plant ball mill operations, with strict requirements for uniform hardness, low breakage rate and continuous 24-hour stable production. After in-depth technical communication between Forever’s R&D engineers and overseas technical team, the whole line integrated automatic feeding, medium-frequency induction heating, online quenching, constant-temperature tempering, cooling and finished sorting into one seamless automated system, fully solving the pain points of traditional heating furnaces including high power consumption, uneven metal microstructure and unstable mechanical performance of finished steel balls.
The core of the production line adopts self-developed IGBT solid-state medium-frequency induction power supply, with thermal efficiency exceeding 90%, cutting comprehensive energy consumption by over 30% compared with gas furnaces and silicon-controlled heating equipment widely used in overseas factories. Equipped with closed-loop infrared temperature measurement module, temperature fluctuation during steel bar heating is controlled within ±10℃, which guarantees finished steel ball surface hardness stabilized at HRC58–65 and impact toughness above 12J/cm², greatly lowering fragmentation loss during grinding service. The steel ball hot rolling heating production line runs under centralized PLC intelligent control, supporting one-key parameter setting, remote real-time monitoring and multi-language operation panel, requiring only one operator to complete full-process production, drastically reducing overseas clients’ labor costs and manual operation errors.
Before delivery, every single unit of the production line passed three rounds of strict factory inspection: no-load continuous running test for 72 hours, simulated full-load thermal processing test and hardness sampling verification of trial-produced steel balls. All electrical components, transmission frames and induction coils were disassembled and packed following international export standards. Precision core power cabinets and sensors were wrapped with vacuum moisture-proof film and shock-absorbing foam, then fixed inside reinforced fumigated wooden crates; large rack structures were covered with anti-rust plastic film and fastened with steel belts to avoid displacement during long-distance sea transportation with vibration, humidity and temperature changes. Professional logistics teams supervised container loading, using anti-slip cushion blocks and tension straps to fix all equipment inside 40HQ high cube container, while full sets of export invoices, CE certification, operation manuals and spare parts kits were sorted and sealed together for smooth customs clearance and quick on-site commissioning.
