This production line adopts mature spiral skew rolling forming technology, different from discrete forging. Round steel bars are fed automatically, heated uniformly by IGBT induction furnace, then sent into the skew rolling mill. Special spiral rollers squeeze and rotate the blank continuously to form spherical workpieces in one pass. The rolling process refines internal grain structure, eliminates internal porosity and shrinkage cavity. The finished balls keep excellent roundness with tight size tolerance. After rolling, balls go straight into online quenching and tempering station, making full use of residual heat to reduce repeated heating loss. The whole forming flow is continuous and efficient, avoiding surface damage caused by repeated handling.

Matching with skew rolling host, the supporting induction heat treatment unit adopts PLC closed-loop temperature control. Infrared sensors track ball surface temperature in real time and adjust cooling flow and line speed automatically.
