Forever Electromechanical Launches New Energy-Saving Steel Ball Production Line for Green and Efficient Manufacturing

Against the global backdrop of low-carbon transformation and intelligent manufacturing upgrading in the metallurgical industry, energy conservation, high efficiency and product stability have become the core indicators for evaluating modern steel ball production equipment. To solve industry pain points, Forever Electromechanical has officially launched its new energy saving steel ball production line, a fully optimized integrated production system integrating intelligent induction heating, precise rolling and standardized heat treatment, setting a new benchmark for energy-efficient steel ball processing.

Different from conventional steel ball hot rolling heating furnace, Forever’s new energy-saving production line adopts a full-process optimized induction heating core system based on upgraded IGBT variable frequency technology. The equipment abandons the inefficient external heating mode of traditional coal and gas furnaces, realizing internal and external synchronous and uniform heating of steel billets. It stably heats various steel materials such as 45# steel, 65Mn, 40Cr and GCr15 to the optimal rolling temperature of 950–1050℃. The highly consistent temperature field effectively reduces billet oxidation and decarburization, with the oxidation burning loss controlled below 1.5%, greatly improving the surface quality, hardness uniformity and wear resistance of finished steel balls.

The entire production line realizes fully automated one-stop operation, covering automatic feeding, constant-speed conveying, precise induction heating, intelligent hot rolling, and post-rolling heat treatment. Equipped with a mature PLC intelligent control system and high-precision infrared temperature monitoring devices, the line supports real-time adjustment of heating power and operating speed. All production parameters can be preset, stored and traced, achieving precise closed-loop control. The intelligent design minimizes manual intervention, realizing single-person unattended operation of the whole line and effectively reducing enterprise labor costs and human error rates.

New Energy-Saving Steel Ball Production Line

Energy saving is the biggest highlight of this new generation production line. The optimized electrothermal conversion structure greatly improves energy utilization efficiency, with comprehensive power consumption reduced to 260–280 kWh per ton of steel balls. Compared with traditional production lines, it achieves an energy-saving effect of more than 25%, and shortens the single-batch production cycle by nearly 30%. In addition, the induction heating working mode produces no open flame, no smoke and no harmful gas emissions, completely solving the environmental pollution problems of traditional thermal processing equipment and fully meeting international environmental protection and low-carbon production standards.

In terms of structural design and operational stability, the production line adopts modular integrated assembly, with high-temperature resistant, wear-resistant and insulated core components. It supports 24-hour continuous stable industrial operation with extremely low failure rate. The equipment supports flexible customized production, adapting to steel balls with specifications from φ20mm to φ120mm, and the hourly output can be adjusted from 0.2 tons to 16 tons, freely switching between small-batch customized production and large-scale mass production to meet diverse market demands.
