With the continuous development of mining, thermal power, cement and chemical industries, the market demand for high-precision, high-wear-resistant steel balls is growing rapidly. Traditional steel ball hot rolling heating production line have long been restricted by outdated heating technologies, featuring uneven workpiece heating, low thermal efficiency, unstable forming quality and high energy consumption. These drawbacks lead to common defects such as inconsistent hardness, surface cracks and poor roundness of finished steel balls, which fail to meet the high-standard requirements of industrial precision wear-resistant parts.

To solve industry pain points, the newly upgraded steel ball rolling induction heating furnace has achieved all-round technological breakthroughs in heating performance, intelligent control, production efficiency and product quality, bringing a new upgrade to the intelligent and high-efficiency production of steel balls.
The core upgrade of the production line lies in the optimized integral uniform heating system, which solves the long-standing heating temperature difference problem of traditional equipment. Adopting upgraded high-frequency induction heating technology, the equipment realizes synchronous and balanced heating of steel ball blanks from the inside to the outside. Different from the traditional single-sided radiation heating that causes surface overheating and core underheating, this technology generates uniform eddy current heat inside the workpiece, with the overall heating temperature error strictly controlled within a tiny range. Combined with the customized rotating feeding structure, each steel ball blank receives omnidirectional and uniform heat treatment, completely eliminating hot and cold zones, and laying a solid foundation for flawless hot rolling forming.

The excellent uniform heating performance greatly improves the comprehensive quality of finished steel balls. Stable and consistent heating temperature enables the internal metal microstructure of steel balls to be refined and evenly distributed after hot rolling and subsequent heat treatment. The processed steel balls feature ultra-high roundness, uniform overall hardness, strong impact resistance and excellent wear resistance, effectively avoiding failure problems such as eccentric wear, cracking and fragmentation during high-load operation. Compared with traditional production lines, the product qualification rate is increased by more than 18%, and the service life of finished steel balls is significantly improved, effectively reducing the replacement and maintenance costs for downstream enterprises.
